Debi shares a super simple pot pie recipe made with leftovers!
Mix the filling in a bowl:
- Shred your leftover chicken
- add some frozen or canned vegetables
- add 1 can of cream soup (cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, etc.)
Then: - Layer your mixture in a baking dish
- Cover with pie crust and bake for 1 hour
- At 1 hour, brush crust with egg wash, place back in oven to get a golden brown crust
This is a super simple recipe that my family loves! The best part about it, it only takes leftovers and about an hour and we’re eating. What can be better for a working mom?
